The total custom keyboard has arrived. Each key is a stand-alone OLED display that shows the function currently assigned to it. Such OLED systems can be used in television screens, computer displays, portable system screens, advertising, information and indication. OLEDs can also be used in light sources for general space illumination, and large-area light-emitting elements. OLEDs typically emit less light per area than inorganic solid-state based LEDs which are usually designed for use as point-light sources.
Optimus’s customizable layout allows convenient use of any language—Cyrillic, Ancient Greek, Georgian, Arabic, Quenya, hiragana, etc.—as well as of any other character sets: notes, numerals, special symbols, HTML codes, math functions and so on to infinity.
The Optimus Maximus Keyboard, previously just “Optimus Keyboard“, is a keyboard currently in development from the Art. Lebedev Studio.
