Happy New Year! Finally… Updates

by James at 12:01 pm | news | Leave a comment

WA007 has been quite busy lately with some exciting projects over the last year. Some stuff we have been working on has been behind the scenes so we have been a bit incognito. We have had quite a bit of fun building some great community platforms for our friends at Theory11, All Hip Hop, DUB Magazine and Urban Racer. We also been working on some apparel and print development for our new WA007 Shop for 08. We look forward to what 2008 brings so sit back and see what we create.

La Caja China is a large roasting box that is used for roasting a pig in as little as 4 hours. It’s a big Miami Cuban community tradition and anywhere else that people want to roast whole pigs. The roasting box allows you to cook either a 70 lb Pig, 16-18 whole Chickens, 4-6 Turkeys, 8-10 Pork Ribs Slabs, 8-10 Pork Shoulders or any other type of meat or fish. That’s one hell of a get together for New Years Eve!

1024×768 vs 800×600 - Is 1024px the new standard for Web Design?

by James at 12:09 pm | design | 1 comment

Over the last couple years we have gotten mixed responses from our users on whats the right resolution to design a a site around. So I recently went back to figure out once and for all if designing around 800px made sense anymore. It’s not like we keep track of this on a daily basis. As with the new UltraShock and TheFWA most sites now support 1024px format or higher. So is it even worth caring about 800px anymore?

We didn’t have to look too far for evidence, it clearly shown in our Google Analytics reports.
